Rainy day in Saskatoon! good day to go get a haircut and drink timmy's!

Canadians Visiting the USA while undergoing the visa process, my free advice:

1) Always tell the TRUTH. never lie to the POE officer

2) Be confident in ur replies

3) keep ur response short and to the point, don't tell ur life story!!

4) look the POE officer in the eye when speaking to them. They are looking for people lieing and have been trained to find them!

5) Pack light! No job resumes with you

6) Bring ties to Canada (letter from employer when ur expected back at work, lease, etc etc)

7) Always be polite, being rude isn't going to get ya anywhere, and could make things worse!!

8) Have a plan in case u do get denied (be polite) It wont harm ur visa application if ur denied,that is if ur polite and didn't lie! Refer to #1

So hubby is going to Brunei on Sunday - AND his hotel is right next to the beach.. *sigh.. i wanna go.. :( His company is flying him 1st class YIKES!!!! So instead i will take a trip on July 4th to CANADA :dance:

Oh wow. Brunei would be so. awesome. I wish my husband would go on a business trip. :lol: Make sure he brings you back something special, E! Glad you get to go to Canada instead. :)

True that.. he'd better bring me something FAB indeed :) I figure i might as well take some time to go home and go for a walk on the beach with my mommy :star:

I really don't think that a fully grown elephant will fit in the overhead compartment but that doesn't mean that DH shouldn't try to get you one. :lol:   I guess you'll just have to settle for the Hope diamond. :lol:

They were showing a few playoff games on TV the other day between the Leafs and the Rangers. The goalies for the Leafs were some guys I never heard of, Plante and Parent, ever hear of them? :lol:

As for Charles, there is only one way he can keep his honoUrary (rules of the Canuck Forum!! :lol: ) citizenship after serving us with this abomination, he must watch every episode of Excuse My French and Snow Job with the sound on. :o This is only his first offence but if he does it again we'll throw in The Trouble With Tracy. :o:o
