You know, I was just reading another thread and I was thinking, what's up with a K3 visa being mulitple entry but with a K1 you have to apply for permission to leave the country.

How weird is that?? I can't think of 1 rational reason why any country wouldn't let you come and go as you please (I don't mean overstaying visitor times etc).

It's incredibly WEIRD!!

the new coldplay album is SO GOOD! MY FAVORITE ONE BY FAR!

How exciting.

I loved their last one...have played it to the point where my sweetie took the CD out of the car on our last road trip together.

Hee, hee.

I still have it, as well as older stuff of theirs, on the iPod.

What would be really weird is if you uncover something that makes logical sense.

Please do let us know if that ever happens.

Good morning and happy Friday to you too Carla!

Just sitting out here on the patio having some coffee, it's so humid here that the screen etc is normally fogged up when I bring it out from the nice chill of the apartment. The patio doors are covered in moisture (outside) every morning too, so I bought a squeegee to umm squeegee them - so I did that yesterday morning - now i'm thinking I don't want to squeegee the windows every morning.

My Husband bought a fish net (as in fish tank not as in Atlantic Ocean) to catch the few bugs and/or lizards that get on to the patio occasionally - for ze catch and release prograrm. A few years ago I would have just had a big can of raid at the ready and covered them in it

good morning everyone.

i've never understood the personal property tax thing either btw. as some of you have said, taxes were paid when it was purchased, then taxed every year after? imo it is an incentive not to buy a new car.

charles and nessa - home of the $600+ year personal property tax on cars. :ranting::protest:

Wow! True Charles, does this not stifle the U.S. auto industry? In Alberta eveyone pays the same for registration - I think it was like $74 for the year this year - at least it is fair if everyone is paying the same.

Oh, and on a side note, as of January 2009, Albertans will no longer pay health care premiums (currently $44 a month single and $88 a month family).

I'm glad to hear of your catch & release program, Trailmix.

Sounds good.

If you get good enough at squeegeeing, you could start charging.

Hahaha!

How was your walk yesterday?

What did you ponder?

Alas, I wasted the time by beating myself up on some things I'd been procrastinating about. Well, actually, it wasn't a waste because I worked on some of the items this morning and now I'm only 35% behind on stuff.

Krikit - this is for you . . .

Procrastination is my sin;

It brings me endless sorrow!

I really must stop doing it -

in fact, I'll start tomorrow!

note - I suffer from the same affliction . . .
