was this the poster who's sig has a flashing neon picture? there was one like that and i right clicked and blocked it...platypius was raving about how aggravating it was and i mentioned what i had done.

I guess I just think someone could have pm'd her instead of making a whole public thing about it and yeah her comments were out of line...

Based on her lack of sensitivity, I don't think think the response would have been any different. And she's lying if she says she wasn't aware. She belittled the people who were affected by it then refused to do anything until someone sent her a formal invitation? nah. Not kosher. I sent a very nice and polite PM, once, to someone who had a disturbing sig. I can tell you that the response was less than stellar. And I know I'm not the only one. No.... there'll be no more PM'ing from me about tasteless signatures. :no:

When I had gone from the site for awhile my sig turned into this digusting picture that I did not know about until someone pm'ed me about it. I forget who it was, but they got upset and were basically like what is your problem!!!?? Well I didn't know! So I was a little offended that they were so hasty with me but then when I saw what the signature was I freaked out and apologized and said I was so sorry for that! haha It was so gross.

No need to be rude.

Actually the power went off here this afternoon for some reason, for about an hour - not weather related, so we are sitting on the couch with our eyes closed (guess we were tired!).

Ended up going to lay down and getting up like 2.5 hours later.

Was going to ask you about that. We're getting lots of weather warnings, but it looks like you're in the thick of it right now, so maybe you've lost your power again. Lots of thunder here, and the air is full of electricity. Sky's a funny colour too. No rain yet, though. Did you see the fires started by the storms last night?

Oh and by the way, where is Len hiding?

Coffee is provided this morning in a non spill container!

Canadians Visiting the USA while undergoing the visa process, my free advice:

1) Always tell the TRUTH. never lie to the POE officer

2) Be confident in ur replies

3) keep ur response short and to the point, don't tell ur life story!!

4) look the POE officer in the eye when speaking to them. They are looking for people lieing and have been trained to find them!

5) Pack light! No job resumes with you

6) Bring ties to Canada (letter from employer when ur expected back at work, lease, etc etc)

7) Always be polite, being rude isn't going to get ya anywhere, and could make things worse!!

8) Have a plan in case u do get denied (be polite) It wont harm ur visa application if ur denied,that is if ur polite and didn't lie! Refer to #1

Thanks for the morning coffee flames! I've looked at this picture for over a minute and I still don't get how you drink from it though! :lol::huh:

Is it supposed to trickle down that "trough"? or are you supposed to wrap your lips around that "vacuumn end"?? :huh::o

This is a great way to start a morning....laughing!
