Staycation?!!!!!!!!

Me likey....except me no doing....me going away...a lot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

First trip actually planned is to Montreal.

Through Detroit and T.O. to visit with friends there too.

I leave on Monday.

I bid on a rental car on priceline and voila! cheap cheap and fuel economical.

The cars available to me here wore not an option to drive to there and pick up the rest of my Summer clothes and my guitar that I need to learn to play.

Hey, I may even drop off my Winter clothes as I do not intend to see Winer ever again.

Just my helmet, my foulies and a pair of kick asss boots that are all season will not be leaving my vicinity.

After a while, you really look at your stuff and wonder:

what is it all for?

I really want to just give it all away.

I do not like having stuff.

Well, except for my tiny espresso/cappuccino machine.

I have lugged that thing around from boat to boat, from house-sit to house-sit, from mainland to island and back.

Travel/Work approval notices via email – April 23rd, 2008

Green card/residency card: email notice of approval – August 28th, 2008 yippeeeee!!!

Funny-looking card arrives – September 6th, 2008 :)

Mailed request to remove conditions – July 7, 2010

Landed permanent resident approved – August 23rd, 2010

Second funny looking card arrives – August 31st, 2010

when I first started chatting and writing emails and stuff I would always put !!! at the end of all my sentences.... lol.. finally my hubby told me to stop it.. now i use .... lol

For me *Marilyn*, makes me think of bright lights, which then makes me think of Vegas, which then makes me think of the Topless Girls of Glitter Gulch, which then makes me think of strippers . . . . . hmmmmm . . . . not sure about the ** . . . but that's just me, my mind likes to wander needlessly. :wacko:

Because you want to believe the best in them because you have a good heart. Look at it this way. Some people bring on what they get and deserve it. A lesson needs to be learned. It was innocently stated that it was distracting and everyone's conversation was about how to block it, and then she jumped in a few times and was seriously rude to people so she got slammed. The problem, in my eyes, is when the other posters got in trouble for it yet her involvement wasn't mentioned. That gets people seriously pissed.

well, I wasn't questioning the fact that I should have stuck up for the person, yeah she could have handled it better but she Pm'd me and told me that she had no idea before today that her sig was bothering people... I think people could have been a lot more polite about pointing out that it was bothering them but thats just me..

But they were polite. Until she started being rude. That's when the gloves came off.
