Good morning and thanks for the coffee Carla. :) I really need it this morning.... only 4 hours sleep last night. Was up till 1:00am helping hubby out with some things then got overtired and couldn't fall asleep. Woke up at early this morning in the middle of a nightmare. I'm still rather disturbed by it. :(

Well, I see my neighbour's beautiful potted plants are all dying on the patio so I will cart them over to my house to keep them watered and send a note to the family that I have them. Maybe I should leave a voicemail on her phone, too? But I feel kind of weird about doing that. The strangest thing, though. Her BBQ, patio chairs, and fountain all disappeared about a week ago, but the BBQ has suddenly reappeared. I need to pay more attention to what goes on out there. (This is the lady in the house behind me who passed away.)

Hey that is really weird. The only possible explanation is that she lent them to someone for some get together? I think it's nice that you are going to water the plants.

In the apartment next to us - and up one floor - there is this single guy - a musician that rides a scooter even (long haired hippy) - anyhoo, he has no less than 7 dead plants on his balcony. When we had been here about 2 days, I saw him bring a glass of water out and kind of toss it on a plant, haven't seen him water them since (maybe he has plant watering performance anxiety and I put him off watering them).

So, this apartment, has no room for a desk or anything, so we have both computers set up on a round glass dining room table. It is so uncomfortable, no where to rest your arm and the monitor is too close and blah blah blah. I can't wait until we get a house, I am not amused by ze apartment anymore.

Okay, I just had a weird moment. For some reason I thought I was reading a response from Carla and I was thinking.... wow.... she's got Trailmix's writing style. So I was just about to respond when I noticed that it WAS you. I will blame it on the lack of zzzz's. post-21394-1212496292.gif

Well, I might buy into the she-loaned-the-patio-stuff-to-somebody-for-a-get-together scenario if they hadn't taken the huge two-ton two-tiered fountain also.

Yeah, living in limbo isn't somewhere I like to be, either. I go crazy when I'm away from home and living out of a suitcase. Hope you get to move real soon. Oh! That reminds me. Hubby said something about a large corporation coming to Orlando and that they are recruiting now. He saw it in the newspaper but can't remember the name of it. He's not very helpful. <_<

Oh yeah, I forgot about the fountain part. hmmm

The cat woke us up around 7, I think she just gets lonely, she meows, it's a tad annoying, I tell her to be quiet, which sometimes works and sometimes works for 5 minutes.

Good Morning y'all! Gonna do some gardening (planting seeds in pots) with Anna today...she'd park herself in front of the tv all morning if I let her. Ahhh...summer break! All this lovely weather and all she wants to do is watch tv!

Anyone got plans for the summer or is the price of gas too high? I heard the term "staycation" yesterday...a vacation where you stay home and do short day trips...sounds like what we're having to do.

No you're not. You're going to Nova Scotia! :bonk:

LOL yeah...but we didn't pay for that trip (thank you Joel's mom!!!). Otherwise we wouldn't be going home...no money for r/t tickets.

Well, it looks like Joe and I will be visiting my family in Canada this summer as well for the first week of August (still waiting to confirm he can get those holiday days). It is my brother and sister-in-law's 20th anniversary and they want to have a party, and I want Joe to see where I used to live and grow up, so it looks like it will work out well. We looked at airfare from Atlanta to Toronto for that time and yikes! Over $600 each! and we would still have to rent a car and drive to Kingston. So, our plan is to fly into Rochester - $226 each - rent the car and drive to Kingston from the States, crossing at the Ivy Lea Bridge near Gananoque. It is only a little bit farther of a drive than from Toronto and a heck of a lot cheaper! Now, just to make sure our cat sitter is available. (Their house is for sale and someone was looking at it yesterday :-( - I don't want them to move!).

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”
