Actually I just checked it out and apparently the proper term for a relative who acts as a wingman, wingwoman, wingperson, or winger is....Mother.

Well, it was a beautiful day here in Ontario, wasn't it Liz? lol

Today I hit the jackpot.... Bulk Barn and Dollarama and Kitchen Stuff Plus all in one day. I have been busy stocking up on Canadian groceries and pharmaceuticals ever since I got here.

Oh! And something else that's new and awesome here in my old home town. They have banned the use of chemical pesticides.... only natural gardening allowed. And the garbage is now picked up every other week because they have introduced organic recycling for kitchen waste, as well as the regular blue box recycling, so there is not as many items going to the dump now. I think this is fantastic. Can't wait to move back here. I go absolutely bananas when I see the lack of care for the environment in the US.

Calgary is staring a blue box recycling thing in January I think, it will cost $ 12 per household per month - do they charge there or is it self funding?

Calgary's just starting? Wow. I'm shocked. The recycling here is included in the municipal taxes. Or something. You know.... I honestly can't remember. How sad is that? I'll ask my Mum. Tomorrow. She's in bed now. Oh. And you know what else I can't remember? Celcius. I grew up with fahrenheit and the metric system was forced upon me long after my informative years. After being away from it for the past 1.5 years I now find that I have to convert celcius back to fahrenheit so I can understand it. You know you're old when....

Go to Ross Dress for Less. They are almost exactly like Winners.... but cheaper. And Marshall's is pretty close too. They're not as pretty but you still get the same bargains.
