My Husband went to the social security office today, in Orlando, to apply for his SSN. He has been gone about 4 hours. They don't keep them there do they

Oh nice! I'm sending mine there tomorrow then! Oh wait. Did they send him back?

Oh and btw, I selected the DC14 Dyson vac for our registry.

I compared 7 vacs (suction power, features, pet hair, and weight) and decided that it's best for me =)

Krikit and Flames will be so proud!!

You are right, Trailmix. I am very proud of our Liz. :luv:

Good Morning! I'm back from my 2 day training and it was incredible! Met some great people and attended some fantastic workshops. I've not had the time I wish I'd had to look at all the postings, but I'll try to catch up before the weekend. Seems like lots of things have been happening. Trailmix, you made it safely and while I'm sorry that you couldn't stop in on your way, know that ONE day we'll all get together! Liz and Krikit, have fun on your travels! You have to take advantage of the great deals when you can. Miss Stacey, good luck at your AOS interview today, I'm sure you'll do wonderfully! Let us know how it goes! I'd better stop now or this post will be several paragraphs long. I think one of my last postings mentioned me testifying by phone during a hearing in Saskatoon. Well, the Judge said "nope!", so they're flying me back to Saskatoon for the hearing. So, unless the accused takes a plea bargin, I'm flying in Monday and staying until next Saturday. This allow me time to testify, and see my kids, and all my friends back in Saskatoon. I'm excited! Here's coffee....

Whooooo! I am glad you had a great training session, Carla! Welcome back! And that is AWESOME that they're going to fly you back! I will keep my fingers crossed for you!

Can't

stop

making

exclamation marks!

Damn!

Good job!!! Love my Dyson!! Have had it over a year and it still works great, which it should for the $$$

Have a great trip to Stoon!! I will be there June 21 to July 02! In Calgary/Edmonton a week prior. Sure going to suck when I'm completed school next yr and expected to work, lol

Canadians Visiting the USA while undergoing the visa process, my free advice:

1) Always tell the TRUTH. never lie to the POE officer

2) Be confident in ur replies

3) keep ur response short and to the point, don't tell ur life story!!

4) look the POE officer in the eye when speaking to them. They are looking for people lieing and have been trained to find them!

5) Pack light! No job resumes with you

6) Bring ties to Canada (letter from employer when ur expected back at work, lease, etc etc)

7) Always be polite, being rude isn't going to get ya anywhere, and could make things worse!!

8) Have a plan in case u do get denied (be polite) It wont harm ur visa application if ur denied, that is if ur polite and didn't lie! Refer to #1

Good morning! Can you feel the love? ;) Have lots of housework and chores to do today. Hung my sheets up on the new clothesline yesterday afternoon so had a heavenly sleep last night! Mmmmmmmmm did my pillow smell divine. :P

flames...I think you're going to be going in better weather than I am for your trip! It's still quite cold in Saskatoon and before I left for Toronto last week, they still had snow!

Everyone have a great day!

charles...how did the coffee service go while I was away? Did you deliver in a timely manner? I know you can brew a mean cup-o-coffee, but timing is everything. ;)

timely by my standards, some people are up before the crack o dawn around here :ranting:

Carla what he might have lacked in timing he surely made up for with his pretty pretty uniform, you know that skirt that was left for him. And one day he even had pig tails he was just too cute

:bonk:

and ty for the coffee today carla :luv:

Carla, I love sheets that have been hung outside. I still think of that pretty much everytime I make the bed with clean sheets, it's just not the same in the dryer!

I have tons of work to do. There are areas of this house that I don't think have been cleaned since Mel's grandma died (a long time ago) We have cleaning ladies that come every 2 weeks, but they only do basic stuff.

With my mom and sis coming on Wed. I want to get this house in tip top shape.

I'm off to a good start, I have already cleaned and organized the fridge and deep freeze this morning. The kitchen isn't too bad- I cleaned and reorganized everything a few months ago- that was a 2 day job.

The computer room/ guest bedroom is going to be a challenge. It is truly horrifying. Mel has stacks of papers everywhere- old school work, his notary papers, etc. I'm too scared to even look under the bed. Also in this room Mel has papers all over the wall with mathematical equations that he won't let me take down ( reminds me of John Nash in a beautiful mind).

Morning everyone, hope all is good since it is Friday.

Good Morning! Thanks for the coffee. Cute mugs! Today will be my last day of posting for a week, I'm off to Saskatoon early Monday morning for 6 days. I hear the snow has finally melted so that's an added plus! Enjoy your week and hope everyone hears GOOD news on their applications and interviews! I will try and post during the week if I get access to a computer.

Have a wonderful trip Carla, hope the weather stays springish for you rather than winterish :)
