Happy Equinox!

Happy Spring.

That combined with the full moon has been quite the ride hasn't it?!

Things should start to calm down somewhat now for any of you who are sensitive to the Earth's and other planets' cycles.

flames...those are so funny! Very cute!

Here's morning coffee... have to run and do more training today. This is a little different in that one half day a week I'm going to be hearing and investigating elder abuse incidents. Either from family, or the nursing home. Have to interview the resident, and others and make recommendations to the coordinator to follow up with the State. Part of my training today will be going out with the supervisor to handle an actual incident. Will report on my experience tomorrow! Might be a vent though :(

Enjoy your day!

Best of luck!! Dont go into too much info on here (names, institution, etc) otherwise ur committing a HIPAA Violation!

Not if you ask the patient first. But the war stories might be too depressing for many, so you may want to speak in more vague terms. Hang tough Carla, elder abuse is never a fun topic. :crying:

Marco just called, left voice mail....new way to talk to Marco...voice mail :hehe:

A financial seance?

Then peace will guide the planets,

And love will steer the stars

Yes indeed. Happy equinox to everyone!

It snowed here overnight. Actually the wind was howling last night - I mean super wind, so this wakes me up around 6-ish, the bedroom seems rather bright and it's breezy.

Day before yesterday I had the door open to the deck, guess I didn't lock it - and it blew open :hehe:

In the dead of Winter, if the wind blows open the door to your deck and you can't tell the difference, you might be a Canadian.

Good morning!

No flames...I will not violate HIPPA! Was a fantastic day training yesterday. I don't plan on venting here about specific cases...give me credit! Tough job, but I'm up to the task. Never wrong to bring kindness and compassion to those who need it most.

Enjoy your day, wherever you may be!

Yeah, I was thinking Flames was really getting into his training and forgot to account for the fact that you're a professional. (It's okay, Flames. I'm not poking fun at you. I think it's nice that you're excited about your profession.)

Sounds like you had a good day, Carla, and that you are feeling that you are making a difference. It's always nice to have job satisfaction.... that's so rare these days. :)

Good morning everyone and thanks for the coffee Carla, that's a cute moose!

Well today is shopping day, the day when we go out and do - well lots of things that require going to a store! I also need to have a look at the things that you can't get/taste different in the U.S. spreadsheet, although I don't think a grocery store is where we will be.

Also need to go to the hairdresser and get my hair cut. It is my Husband's birthday too.

We have like a 37 inch tv we got a couple of years ago, I can't decide what to do with it. Give it away, sell it on kijiji, take it to Florida. It's a tv, I mean really, make a decision already!

When one has a lot on their plate, everything feels insurmountable.

We could decide each little thing for you...

Okay okay, I'll start:

sell the TV.

Get another one for probably less (new/used/whatever) when you get to your new home.

Better yet, I will be brutally honest and advise you to sell it and never get another one. Ha!

Congrats to the hubby on his B-Day!

I agree with Spirit - sell the TV and get another one when you're in FLA.

Yeah, I'm leaning towards selling it/giving it away. We do have a 15 inch lcd tv that we are taking

I like tv sometimes. My Son on the other hand doesn't. He doesn't have cable or internet, what's up with that
