Good morning! I thought this coffee might bring some sunshine your way today! We could use it here. It's been raining for over 24 hours straight and rivers are flooding. What a mess! Off to another day of my volunteer training!

I've had the same experience myself. I participated in one of these surveys, got a nice invitation in the mail and everything. I didn't get paid, no cookies, no drinks, nothing. I tell you, that's the last time I take part in a survey for a company called Elections Canada. :innocent:

Ew. That coffee looks scary, Carla. Reminds me of a hallucination I once had during a high fever.

Oh, flooding. Gee. In rivers, you say? How novel. I prefer my floods to be confined to the home.

I'm glad I wasn't the only one who was slightly perturbed by that coffee. Looks like something I'd hallucinate during a large bender, but then again my imagination has always been extremely creative

This morning (after a very long time tossing and turning in bed trying to get to sleep) the cat decided to take over my pillow for her own use. I had to remind her that it doesn't work out when I'm still there, but she ended up winning anyway. <_<

In case-related news, my case has been transferred to Philly! I'd hoped to skip the interview, but small favours ;)

Well, I am sitting here drinking non-smiley face coffee

We didn't get too much accomplished with packing yesterday, sorted photos and coins, but it all counts!! Today we tackle another room.

I agree Crickey, it was a tad slowww getting in here today, did see this message from Ewok just now, at the top of the forum:

Eeek! Sorry for the major slow down this morning!

I made a change that I thought would speed the server up and of course it did the opposite!! Anyhow I am reverting that right now and I hope things are speedy again! Sorry for the slow site this morning everyone!

Hmm. I just received a call from something called "Audience Participation". (I think that's what they said.) They want me to view a DVD for a proposed show on March 25th and they will call me back on March 26th to see what I think of it. Has anyone else ever heard of this?

Not sending a DVD but I did get mail a couple of months ago for an audience participation thing - had to go somewhere (forget where) for a few hours and view some new shows and give my opinion.

I didn't do it, but sounds like the same type of thing.

How did I miss this? I have not heard of that company, but I must say I make a decent amount by doing surveys and cr@pola like that. Ok, not that much, but enough worth the trip to the bank to deposit the checks ;)

Oh cool. I wonder if I'll go onto some sort of survey-doer list and start making my fortune too!!
