Absolutely. Polygamy is outlawed in the US (even in Utah  ) so there is only one wife or husband (unless you are a practicing bigamist or politician  ). You have a wife, a husband, a waste of skin, a boat anchor, whatever. The love of my life is still OK though. In Len's case, the TLM is the preferred term of endearment  .

On a more serious note, I am so sorry to hear about your FIL's condition. My thoughts and prayers go out to him (and you too).

Or the artist formerly known as "the dude I'm shacking up with"

I swear people, if Bren read my posts he would be either quite amused or quite embarrassed.... Good thing is, there would be some spanking involved. but hey! At least I think my comments do not cross the line in between sexy-funny and plain out gross and disgusting :whistle:

Prayers out for FIL Spirit. May the Gods be with him and protect him.

There is nothing wrong with a bit of gluteal flagellation. I do not believe that you cross the line into gross and degrading debauchery, come damn close sometimes but do not cross the line. As for Bren? Good thing Lady Heather keeps him grovelling and doesn't give him time to read.

Ooo, Buckleys. :D

It tastes awful but it works! :D

Absolutely true. I swear by the stuff. Even if I don't have a cold.

Sorry, I thought that was the idea. :innocent: Oh, I get it, you want me to say something obscene...um....the IRS. Don't worry about Bren reading this, I'm sure he'll get a (ball) gag out of this.

yes, buckelys cures everything!! I keep a gallon of the stuff in the medicine cabinet!!

Canadians Visiting the USA while undergoing the visa process, my free advice:

1) Always tell the TRUTH. never lie to the POE officer

2) Be confident in ur replies

3) keep ur response short and to the point, don't tell ur life story!!

4) look the POE officer in the eye when speaking to them. They are looking for people lieing and have been trained to find them!

5) Pack light! No job resumes with you

6) Bring ties to Canada (letter from employer when ur expected back at work, lease, etc etc)

7) Always be polite, being rude isn't going to get ya anywhere, and could make things worse!!

8) Have a plan in case u do get denied (be polite) It wont harm ur visa application if ur denied, that is if ur polite and didn't lie! Refer to #1

I remember seeing an ad for Buckley's when I was about 7 years old and telling my mom to get it because if it tastes as awful as they say it must work pretty darn good!

I saw a strange/ disturbing thing at the Social Security office yesterday:

So, the waiting room was full and I take a number and sit down. About ten minutes later, in walks a tiny little east asian girl wearing the following: hot pink micromini skirt, red knee-high stiletto boots, a lime green tube top and a silver and gold bomber jacket (it's cold here right now). She looks about 15 but I'm guessing she was probably closer to 19 or 20 because of what she's wearing and who she walks in holding hands with - a disheveled man about 45 years old.

The man tells the security guard he's there to get her SS card and is asked where his receipt is. The man immediately starts getting annoyed, "I don't have a receipt!" After being told he needed a receipt or would have to re-apply, he continues to get more upset and yell. By this point, everyone in the waiting room is staring at him and his scantily clad partner.

They take a number and take a seat. Over the next 15 minutes, the whole waiting room watches and listens as he coaches his wife (I'm assuming) in English - "SO-SHALL SE-CURE-ITEEEE" She looked frustrated and scared and he just looked mean.

I obviously started assuming a lot of things about this couple and this man...

I felt bad for the poor girl...

Just hope charles knows that it's still "Canadian" coffee no matter who serves it up here.

flames...you're so funny...always telling it like it is eh? (F)

Sounds rather disruptive and disturbing your situation at the Social Security Office!

Miss Stacey...congrats on your family visit! Wooooooohooooooooooo! :)

If you can fit all your thinks into your moving cube trailmix you are truly an inspiration!
