I'm just glad you didn't take that job at the Natte Latte or, heaven help us, Expresso Gone Wild.

Dude!!! It's called "Chicka Latte" and I tell you, the faces on the dudes that drive through it are as sleazy as pervs in a porn shop. One wonders if they even drink the coffeeeeeeeeee

I hadn't heard about Chicka Latte, that makes three stores.:lol: I really got to start drinking coffee. No milk with mine though.

BTW, how would you know what the faces of the customers look like? Lennnn, you got some 'splaining to do.

Dude, it would go something like this:

Len: Welcomeeee to Chicka Latte [adjusts bussom]

Customer: Errr.... i've never been here before, do you sell coffee? [staring at daaaah bussom]

Len: Yes we do...... [blinky eye and all]

Customer: uh oh.... ok, coffee please.

Then after the exchange of coffee and money, the client would look up and we would both scream in terror :girlwerewolf2xn: ... either it was my father in law or even worse, a sexually frustrated colleague from my department

Dude.... I've met the spouses of most of the faculty.... and I wouldn't be surprised at their sexual frustration. Or maybe I should hand out flyers for the School of Obedience:lol:

With my mom coming in May she will bring my T4 and my tax booklet to fill out. It will be a simple return to do. I usually file by phone- I wonder if I can do that from the US?

My only concern is that I have cashed all the GST cheques I got. I am assuming they will want that money back now that I am in the US?

Just don't expect a redux of the Sancho Panza/Lady Heather School of Obedience. I can't handle a whip anymore due to carpal tunnel syndrome.

Good morning fellow Canucks! Here's coffee...hot and steamy!

Last night Gene and I had an INCREDIBLE night! Gene had got me for Valentines Day, tickets for Michael Bulbe. Just before the show, there was a contest at a booth outside the venue from a radio station we listen to....they'd upgrade the tickets of 4 couples. Our names were picked! We had been sitting in the first row of the top tier (nosebleed section), when the radio station guy came and motioned us! I was so excited!! We sat in first row floor tickets!! Wow, was it loud! But awesome! I haven't sat in first row floors for a concert since 1972!! It was a thrilling concert an awesome performance!

Didn't get home until very late...so I'm looking a bit like :hehe: this morning.

Cheers!

What a great Valentine's Day gift that turned out to be:-). Glad you had fun - and thanks for the coffee!

Last December Joe and I visited the Impressionist Exhibition at the High Museum of Art. I filled in one of those 'put your name and address on a form and put it in the jar for the chance of a prize' slips. A few weeks ago I received a huge envelope in the mail. My name was drawn for a prize! I received the exhibition hard covered book (we had purchased the soft covered book so will give that now to someone else), a journal, a large wall calendar, a small calendar, a High Museum book satchel and a set of boxed notecards all featuring art from the exhibition. It was a very nice surprise!

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

Good morning Canada forum. I'm feeling a little iffy today. I had hoped to visit the Manitou Cliff Dwellings but I'm not sure now. I suddenly came down with a terrible headache and nausea and stuff late yesterday, and I'm still feeling it a bit today. I really want to go since it's our last full day in Denver, but I don't want to be an hour and a half away and feeling horrible either. :(

Oh dear! The Cliff Dwellings do look very interesting and I hope you feel better and get the chance to go. It's the foreign germs in Denver!

Carla your evening sounds just grand, so glad you had a good time :)

Oh, how rude of me. Yes, Carla.... your evening sounded wonderful. That's so awesome that you won the ticket upgrade! Yay for winning free stuff!

Crickey! when you go in to the dinner thread cover your eyes, I just posted a pic of a corn dog, which might make you feel sick/er.
