Good morning! How is everyone this morning? We had some snow yesterday. At our place, 6 inches. Everything was closed here, major storm for HERE. Most snow since 1993? Was hoping spring was around the corner, but might be a few weeks yet...

Good morning!

It's gorgeous here! It rained last night but sunny this morning. My husband just got back from California and he said it's pretty much the same temp here! It feels like Spring and I love it!

Good morning! Thanks for the coffee Carla. It's been nice here, all frost this morning but we are having temperatures above zero and it's very spring like, which is somewhat unusual and I like it!

I keep waking up early and thinking about moving

It snowed here last night. I think it's supposed to snow later, too. Not sure what I'll do today. Not too sure I want to drive in snow.

Congratulations on your NOA2, Laura!

Len.... the Starbucks here has openings for baristas! Oh. Except I believe I read somewhere that you don't like Starbucks so nevermind. lol

The people in Denver are absolutely the friendliest and most laid back people I have ever met in the US. But they're pretty aggressive drivers. My husband said "Oh. You mean like Toronto drivers?":lol: I could definitely live in Denver.

Well that's good that you like it! So the weather is not a huge issue for you, you are a 'snow gal' a 'frozen precipitation person' a 'white christmas aficionado'.

I hate the cold. But I love the snow. But, really.... it hasn't been that cold here yet, so I still have warm fuzzies for the place. I guess when you've experienced one of the coldest winters in history in Edmonton, everywhere else is pretty much balmy.

(P.S. I would NEVER live in Edmonton.)

And speaking of raving loonies....

This woman who works where my Husband works (and drives him bonkers) -

Their office is in the area where the former Currie Barracks is, in Calgary - so there is a lot of open field surrounding the office, hence they have gophers, which the woman feeds.

So she says the other day "I'm not going to train them this year - just feed them".

So he wants to know when she became the 'gopher whisperer' and if she understands that they are squealing for food, not because she 'trained' them.

 Loonies are fun to work with. They're a nice diversion from the daily grind. Unless they become part of the daily grind. lol

Morning people!!! Seattle is sunny today and I am in a good mood.

And nope Crikey, my reputation as a latte artiste would never allow me to work at Cr@pbucks ;) but I do start next week at the mommie coffee shop!!!

I'm with you there. I've said it before here I think - I'm allergic to the cold.

In my perfect world, I only deal with snow for around 2 weeks around Christmas and on ski trips. Other than that, I love warmer climates and can't live in the cold. Poor excuse for a Canadian I know. If I had a dime for every time I said "I'm so cold" and then an American says "But you're Canadian" I could buy a new car! (or at least a cup of coffee from Starbucks)

 That's awesome! "gopher whisperer"

Those kinds of people definitely break up the day nicely and keep things interesting.

Believe me sister, Deadmonton was never in my "fave destination list"... but that's where the redhead was... not that SK's winters were any better, mind you
