So my Husband is home today with a full blown cold, not the flu - but his head hurts and it's not good, I don't feel good either whooo hoooo!

I am kind of scared to post coffee, since I made two people cry yesterday with my coffee posting, but here goes anyway!

Sorry about your husband. That really sux. Use Canadian Nyquil, and pack some to bring with you. Apparently they've removed some of the effective ingredients in it here. I found out when it didn't work and one of the Americans on the board told me why.

I used to drink a large cup of chai when I felt a cold coming on. Always Red Rose brand but I understand you can only get it here in Canada and not in the States. Only in Canada, pity.

Computer's handling pretty reasonably today. *knocks on wood* I had to go back to bed after my husband left for work this morning. I was awake almost the entire night.

Crickey!, I heard she attended Vanity Fair's top posters party with Matt Damon and George Clooney.

Oh yes, it was faaaabulous, dahlink. But I just couldn't shake Brad and Angie. Those two can talk. It was all Pax this and Maddox that and Shyloh this and Zahara that. They are such a YAWN, dahlink.

My Husband's visa came in the mail today, it's very swish I must say.

My Brother in Law and Nephew were at the Nebraska USCIS office this morning for their visa interview and they are now official green card holders (or will be when the cards arrive in about two weeks). My Nephew can claim citizenship now that he has that.

I won't go in to huge detail about my BIL's visa interview, however many many many years ago he was caught with marijuana. What I do want to say is that because the very old court documents did not state what he was caught with - just that he was caught - he had to file a waiver. The USCIS person was so nice, she already had it all ready to go, they just had to write a note saying what he had been in possession of and pop out and get a money order - how efficient/nice is that!

You know.... I've heard of quite a few people having to file waivers because of being turned back at the border due to old old marijuana possession charges. (I mean, come on.... it was the seventies. Flower power and all that stuff. Who DIDN'T know someone who smoked marijuana? ) Anyway, it's nice to know that USCIS didn't hold it against him.

Well the good thing is that they already had his old court records because they no longer exist. He had to file for a border crossing card when they went to the U.S. to live about 10 years ago or whenever it was.

Oh and Len, we are moving to SUNNY Florida! Our current plan is to actually leave Calgary on April 1st The thing is, April 1st seems really close now.
