Aww! *hugs*

Poor daughter is going to find these and wonder how they followed her.

 She finally got the phone working, no mention of them.

I have been trying to find that Can/Am group on Facebook and couldnt find it really. I can't seem to figure out how the search works and I haven't been really bothered to spend enough time to figure it out...

I guess I have enough time spent on VJ already :P

Glad there's someone else who can't quite figure the thing out

My countdown thing is scaring me. :crying:

Awww, Tinker is going to be okay at the interview! *hug*

I went out to Granville Island today and bought a dozen Rogers' Chocolates mini peppermint creams, I'm going to miss them so much when I leave. :(

Nini - Vancouver BC, Canada (she's the one who does the forum thing)

Bee - Devon PA, USA (he's the one who gave her the shiny ring)

Getting our sanity tested by bureaucracy since 2007.

Here we go again...

i love Granville Island

we had a cooking teacher in high school who would arrange field trips to Granville Island... all she said when we got there was that we had to walk through the food market to make the field trip legit

i love the chocolate covered apples with smarties they have there

Study or k1 room??????? K1 here I come!!

Canadians Visiting the USA while undergoing the visa process, my free advice:

1) Always tell the TRUTH. never lie to the POE officer

2) Be confident in ur replies

3) keep ur response short and to the point, don't tell ur life story!!

4) look the POE officer in the eye when speaking to them. They are looking for people lieing and have been trained to find them!

5) Pack light! No job resumes with you

6) Bring ties to Canada (letter from employer when ur expected back at work, lease, etc etc)

7) Always be polite, being rude isn't going to get ya anywhere, and could make things worse!!

8) Have a plan in case u do get denied (be polite) It wont harm ur visa application if ur denied, that is if ur polite and didn't lie! Refer to #1

It's funny because I started a poll a couple of months ago that asked - does it bother you when someone criticizes the immigration department in the U.S. etc etc

All the comments were - no, doesn't bother us, it's just another Gov. dept blah blah blah

The comments in that thread (and others) would make it appear otherwise?

Aww, maaaan. You guys have lost your VJ virginity. I'm not yet numb to some of the words which come out of people's fingers yet. (Or the pictures that they post.) "I was shocked. Shocked beyond belief, I tell you."*

*From the movie "Amadeus" for those who saw it. ;)

BTW, Tinker. Kudos on the hidden doilies. (Why does that word look so weird?) Worthy of a big  .

*RME* everyone's telling poor liz she's the addict..
