Update.. Hubby gambled for the 1st (and probably last time) today.. put 5$ in the slots and came out with 127$!! Yipee!! He cashed out immediately and thought that was the most money he's ever made in under 2 min!!

WHOOOOOO!!!!!!!! That is AWESOME!!!!!!! I remember winning $800 at Casino Niagara after putting in about two dollars worth of coins. I took my winnings, gave the girl who brought me the cash $10, then I hightailed it out of there. There was no WAY they were getting back the money they'd just given me.

OK, interview went fine. The lady-owner is about 34 (my calculations) and seems pretty laid back. I don't know whether she'll offer me the job, but I am seriously thinking about the pros and cons of the deed. I do want a part-time gig to complement our income, but I'm not sure about hanging out with whiney babes all day ..... hmmm.... we'll see.

Excellent, Lenina! Guess you'd kinda have to be a laid-back kind of person to want to have whiney babes all around you every day. If it's offered, go for it. If you find it's not a good fit after giving it a try, you can always resign. Hopefully in a screaming fit that has you hurling off your apron and yelling "I can't TAKE it no more!" as you run crying hysterically to the door. After all.... it's these kinds of lasting impressions that we want children to take note of so that they get that "AHA" moment and will log it away for future reference. Ahem, as for coffee, yesterday I started drinking sugar-free red bull. I sat and worked on my master's thesis for NINE HOURS STRAIGHT. I've never been a coffee person, but I might have to start, as candy-flavored soda is not very pleasant in the morning.

Neither am I. I used to use rage and self-deprecation to study for exams and write papers. Some of the time it actually worked. Good thing it left me as the normal, well-adjusted individual that I am today.
