My NOA1 is 05-30-2007 and my application is in CSC, last touched on 07-18-2007, hopefully I will get my GC a little before christmas so I can go visit my family in Montreal  ( OMG quick let's go complain about this 10 times a day in the AOS May filers thread :hehe:)

If anyone has ever read that, and I know Emancipation did, it's as pathetic as the OT <_< ....

FUNNY! The April filers thread was pretty civil... I'll have to wander over to the May filers just to take a quick peek. ;)

Well if you only browse the most recent pages, its probably going to be fairly civilized....because its just a bunch of crying and whinning babies that have been reminding everybody everyday at what day in there process they were, and its the 5-6 same names all the time...

Most of them have received a sign or an approval so it has calmed down, but for the last 2 month until 3 weeks ago it was pretty much pathetic. I did make a final post to try to wake them up from their stupidity ( like bashing people that filed after them because they were first in line or claiming the unbearable wait after 6 weeks  ) and all I got is stupid replies like a bunch of girls smoking weed hallucinating butterflies in their fairy world. Yeah this site is meant to support people, but they are not even opening their eyes on this immigration process, they are just crying like a bunch of babies in a kindergarden.

Of course now no one else posts in that thread anymore other than them, few rare posters do but you can tell they just give update and don't read them, and its pretty much a yada-yada thread now. Even the number of pages they have compared to the other months shows the huge amount of insignifiant posts...

My last comment in that thread is on page 133, post #1984  Enjoy

And this post was initiated by the post #1974 on page 132, see my comments...

Pathetic, they are pathetic.

Interesting Mephys... ;)

I do think that with these filer threads people are starting to expect things based on other people's cases and we all know everyone's case is different. I dunno, the only thing I expected within a certain timeframe was the EAD since there is a reasonable expectation of when one would be approved for that. Even the district offices recognises that the norm is 90 days since you can make an appointment specifically if your EAD NOA1 was over 90 days old.

As for AOS, it's a crapshoot and no one can really determine how long things are going to take. If someone gets transferred to CSC they might be in limbo (a.k.a. namecheck hell) for a long long time. If someone isn't transferred they'll just have to wait until they're scheduled for an interview at their district office and timelines for that vary by office. I'm actually glad my case got sent for an interview. I had a date in sight to at least know where my case stood as far as namecheck, approval, denial, further RFEs, pending approval, etc. I honestly didn't care if my interview was 6 or 12 months from filing as long as I had a "date" in sight even if there was no guarantee I'd be approved on that date.

I wish more people would update their timeline though because that data can be very useful but right now it's out of date. I just did some random clicking on people's timelines and their timelines aren't updated at all (some don't even have one). I don't know about anyone else but that's the first thing I always updated when something changed on my case. It was nice to see all the fields start getting filled up. :)

Throughout this entire thing, I am thankful that I didn't get caught up in IMBRA and so so soooooo thankful that everything has gone smoothly for me.

Pathetic, they are pathetic.

Regardless of your views towards this thread, it is against the TOS to deliberately bait members (or attack them), my bolded part of your post indicates that this is your intention to bait.

If you don't like the thread then my advice to is to stay away from it. If you see anything that is against the TOS yourself then report it rather than complaining about it in other threads.

Thank you.

Stupid facebook. I had signed up with my real name and already got slammed with request from people I used to know but no longer want to ever talk to. I'll have to sign up again with a different email and name. The only reason why I'm signing up is the Can/Am group!

You can just ignore their requests, can't you? As far as I know, it doesn't respond back to the original person with a "you've been ignored by so-and-so".

In a similar vein, I hate it when people ask you to join their stupid realtor referral group simply because they think you can "spread the word". Like I have a house to sell. -_-

Yep, my sister-in-law and I did a test and you can reject people and they never find out. It's helpful when you don't want to be in contact with certain people.
