uh Krikit - you probably don't want to hear this, but . . . you can freeze malteasers to keep them fresh! (I have experience in this area - currently several coffee crisps, an aero bar and some dark chocolate are all keeping fresh in my freezer)!

Been doing this forever. We used to do this with halloween candy (well, whatever was left). :lol: Also works great for cakes. If you need to thaw something it will tend to keep you from going crazy eating the whole thing.

P.S. krikit, if you are going to start a dieting support thing, you may not want to invite me or Spirit.

Hee, hee.

No, wait, she should invite us.

We could eat all the chocolates and save her from herself!

:star::star::star:

I'm willing to sacrifice myself to help Krikit stick to her diet. :lol:

Good morning all. Today begins Day 1 of my diet. I have failed miserably already. *sigh*

Cheer up, you haven't failed. :thumbs::thumbs::thumbs:

The worst diet is the one where you eat six times a day. If you can stick to it you will get ripped. Takes a huge amount of discipline but if you want a six-pack, you will get it. I know of a few folks who tried it and it did work. Me, six-pack be damned, I'd rather stick with my keg. :lol:

Wow, you guys are the best. And the worst.... all at the same time. :devil::lol: Okay, Day Two of Diet. Let's try this again. Actually.... come to think of it.... my diet started on Monday but I didn't do it. But I did on Sunday. So.... technically.... I'm right on schedule. Right? :unsure:

Imageshack is down again so someone else is gonna have to get you your coffee. I'm drinking tea. :hehe:

Dear Krikit,

With Trailmix, Mumsie, KarenCee and I sacrificing ourselves in order to help you (oh the suffering...all that yummy chocolate), you just may be able to get through this.

As I said, leave the sweets where you have them now (freezer)

until we get there and in the meantime,

do get yourself some satisfyingly crunchy carrot and celery sticks (munch munch crunch crunch),

do get active (and by this I don't mean "the gym"...

...more like something you like to do that is physical, hey that could mean anything, tee, hee),

and do eat small amounts and more often.

Would you like me to be your personal trainer???

Hmmm?

It would be fun!

So far (today) my training regimen consists of making hubby breffrus, and doing the laundry. Chocolates are in the freezer awaiting your arrival. It is now "break" and I am eating good good whole wheat Shreddies. Does anyone else eat their cereal with a big spoon so you can feel like a kid again? :unsure:

P.S. "Satisfying" and "carrot and celery sticks" are not words that go well together. :hehe:

I used to be addicted to licorice.

They were great stress busters whilst trying to beat design deadlines. :hehe:

Then I realized that that plastic after-taste might not be such a great idea long-term.

Go figure. :lol:

So, yes, I did find the extra crunchy power of those carrot sticks replaced the licorice quite nicely.

:star::star: :star:

(I still eat licorice, just rarely now.)
