Bonjour mes amis,

It's a white-out in Chi-town, and I am feeling a twinge of cabin fever. Bleh.

So, I will find a way to get downtown to Navy Pier for the huge boat show and shmooze galore.

Bus, train, walk....better get the ski-doo suit out. Bah!

What better way to kick the Winter blahs but with tons of fun and whacky socializing.

There are so many people I have to meet that I have met over time on-line (sailing world) there , plus ones I've met in other places and raced with or talk to in some drunken state ...so this will be a good thing to do.

Although my feeling is to hibernate....

I shall fight it!

YES!

HAPPY FEBRUARY EVERYONE.

Let's hope for those of us suffering the Winter that it goes by quickly.

Hey there's a little thingie to be planned: a February 29th wedding.

AOS, wedding, refurbishing, finding a new home, moving, travelling, schmoozing, etc, etc...

I need to clone myself to get it all done.

I did go to the local social security office yesterday during the snow storm and got through quickly and efficiently.

SSN card arriving sooooooon.

One thing down, one zillion things to go.

Ha!

:star:

No. It just means you are late and everyone else has gone home. :P

Good morning, everybody. Well, good afternoon, actually, now that I see the time. I slept in today. Woke up in the middle of the night coughing and choking and feeling like I was drowning and not able to breathe. A recurring problem that I really do need to see a doctor about. Took some Nyquil, sat at the computer for a while, then was knocked out until 11:00am. :o

Anyway..... black history month now. There's a free ethnic dance production going on at the local town hall this evening. If I'm able to summon up the energy I think it would be nice to attend.

Do you have a moving date, Trailmix? Shall I get ready to be excited too? :)

Choose "Options" then "Standard" and it will go back. For some reason the site sporadically loses your default settings.

Thanks krikit! That fixed it, I thought it was a new 'feature' because I saw someone suggest it somewhere. I've had it lose my settings before, but not like that duck-amuck-cartoon.jpg

 just means you are catching up on the threads. i have seen on a few instances in ot (keep in mind the settings i use is 25 topics per page) where the same person had last reply on almost every thread.
