YIPPEEE!

My (quicky) week/weekend news:

~ bought new washing machine - killed old one OOPS!

~ bought mega huge ext HD; will be finally emptying my poor internal harddrive of the almost 10,000 photos and other large graphic files

~ spontaneous marriage license acquisition (Wed)

~ got some really cool wedding bands (L) (Thur) (the ones we designed and ordered are not done yet; those we will use in our sacred wedding ceremony, later)

~ sweet l'il outfit to tie the knot in (Thur); could not see myself doing that in clothes with old energy; even the nice ones :star:

~ got married...just city hall legal thingie; wedding celebration to come (hopefully February 29th, if the stars shine on us and the planets line up just right) :D

~ borrowed wheels from in-laws (they have too many vehicles)...just some old hunk-a-junk: a flaming red BMW! You know how fast those things go? And how they handle? Mwahahaha!!! I am not stuck in the burbs anymore...going exploring! B)

~ got supplies for refurbishing house: wallpaper removal, hole filler, tools, primer, paint, brushes, rollers..fun fun :P

~ moved all furniture and clothes from upstairs to main level; it's all ready for the work now

How was your weekend?

Mmmm...enjoying my fair trade cappuccino, and relishing in what life is.

:star: :star: :star:

PS When does Summer come?

sigh....

I am truly allergic to Winter!

Charles to be Canadian you must get more Canuck cred. First you must change your name, henceforth you are not Charles or Chuck but C-Dog. Get a proper conveyance, preferably an Escalade but an Old Skool pimpmobile is good. Drive around in a '77 Lincoln Continental and people look at you differently (something I know from personal experience). If you're over 30 you can't wear a Kangol hat and/or have your pants hanging down, you need a sky (a purple bowler will do or get one of Eugene Whelan's old hats  ). Get lots of bling (gawdy rings and chains are good) and a cane with an overly elaborate pommel. Come to think of it....Look at how Don Cherry dresses, if that's not OG I don't know what is. Don't hate the playa hate the (good, old, hockey) game.

BTW, one more thing, less George Jones, more Geto Boys.

Good good morning! Here's a hot cup of coffee...particularly for those of you in sub artic temps today. Ick! I spoke to my daughter last night and she said it will be -48 with the windchill today??! Yikes! Snow as well. They had some whiteouts and blizzards there, and buses were stuck or couldn't get around. Horrible stuff. Yesterday and today it was in the high 50's. Going to get cold however in the next few days...cold for here mind you. I DO want to qualify that!

Enjoy your day!
