Whoa! Must. Go. Now!

Well, after we win the lottery of course.

Shhhhh. Don't tell anyone about it. :secret: We need to keep it "... world acclaimed yet still relatively unknown".

No need to whisper, we all know now!!!!

Does anyone remember when they would have the book thing in elementary school - can't remember the name of the company that was selling the books.

Anyway you would take the catalogue home and choose books and get the money from the parents then take back your order form and a couple of weeks later the books would arrive.

I LOVED that whole process and the books, it was like the regal catalogue of the kids book world.

Some books just arrived from Amazon which made me think of it :)

I am so fond of those memories.

Thanks for the re-minder, Trailmix. :D

You might laugh, but I actually still have one of those little paperbacks from way back in the 70s.

It is called, "Ir's Your World, Don't Pollute It" with editorial-style comics i.e. a dog riding piggie back so that he/she can put his/her nose into the clean air above the smog, and suggestion son how to make your home more green. All of it still applies today!

Cool, huh??

SpiritAlight edits due to extreme lack of typing abilities. :)

You will do foolish things.

Do them with enthusiasm!!

Don't just do something. Sit there.

Good morning everyone. Here's coffee.

Gene has a business meeting in S.C. in February, so we're thinking of driving from St. Louis, to Charleston, for about 5 days, then driving from there to St. George Island Fla. for about a week. Won't that be fun?

Mornin (F)

Our hot water heater leaked ALLLL over the basement during the night. Luckily we had just cleaned up the basement so nothing really got damaged just a bunch of water EVERYWHERE!!!

I'm late for work but whatever. I also just had the coldest shower I've ever had in my entire life. It was like going to a polar bear dip!!!!

AHHHHH!!!!

Oh well.

Have a great day all!

Yaaaay! Thanks for the coffee, Carla! Your trip sounds like fun! Good thing you'll be coming to Florida after my brother-in-law has left. It always snows here whenever he visits. He and my sister live in England so he thinks weather in the 60's is just fine. We've got pictures of my husband, my sister and I all bundled up in sweaters and jackets, and my BIL is wading in the sea with his shorts and t-shirt. :o The temperature here has dropped drastically overnight, after a lovely few weeks of temps in the 80's. Forcast high for today is 66. My sister and BIL arrive on Friday.
