Ran and did some errandfs, picked up some bagels and XL Dunkins coffee!! yummy

Dear Flames, please don't take this personally.

Well if you want to, I can't stop you. :)

After "insulting" your choice of beer (all chemical and no taste) now I am going to comment on your coffee choices.

You and sweet Trailmix, although wonderful people, need to have your taste buds checked.

I mean really...

My sweetie used to drink XL Dunkin's coffee and then I introduced him to REAL COFFEE.

He can't go back now.

(I hope.)

Yes, I am a food #######...aka food snob.

;)

I met with our accountant! Yeah.. so much fun!!

Ugh, I gotta start thinking about meeting up with our accountant sometime soon.

I would rather play with our cute "Canadian" kitty instead!

Derek, what a gorgeous feline!!

:star: :star: :star:

Normally I make my own coffee. And the coffee I have on tap at home is straight from Columbia (not bought in stores) Soon to have some fresh Nicaragua on my coffee shelf!! I'm no coffee expert, I just drink whatever, even starbucks. caribou coffee is ok as well!

And Im no beer snob either, if its cold its drinkable!

Canadians Visiting the USA while undergoing the visa process, my free advice:

1) Always tell the TRUTH. never lie to the POE officer

2) Be confident in ur replies

3) keep ur response short and to the point, don't tell ur life story!!

4) look the POE officer in the eye when speaking to them. They are looking for people lieing and have been trained to find them!

5) Pack light! No job resumes with you

6) Bring ties to Canada (letter from employer when ur expected back at work, lease, etc etc)

7) Always be polite, being rude isn't going to get ya anywhere, and could make things worse!!

8) Have a plan in case u do get denied (be polite) It wont harm ur visa application if ur denied, that is if ur polite and didn't lie! Refer to #1

Yeah I just threw that out there for fun really. If it says 'coffee' I will drink it - unless it is old and bitter, I do have standards :hehe:

Hey, do any of you hold any interest/believe in Astrological signs as an indicator of personality?

To some extent, yes. Though according to our signs, Derek and I are completely incompatible!

I just picked up some bagels too!!! Hiss to the Dunkin Donuts coffee, though. Was at the chiropractor, then stopped at the gourmet food shop, then the Jewish bagel shop. And then I thought, oh what the heck, so I went grocery shopping too. And then I remembered that it was time to pick up my wine-of-the-month from the Wine Cellar so I stopped in there and chatted with the owner and smiled sweetly at the filthy rich I-am-oh-so-much-more-important-than-you ladies. All in all, a wonderful day. :D

Hey! Did you know I was a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle one Halloween? Me and friends at work. I was Raphael. We wore garbage lids on our backs as our shells. Or was it clothes baskets? Anyway, it was a hoot. I have a picture here somewhere.

I met with our accountant! Yeah.. so much fun!!

Wow! Will this mad, crazy, merry-go-round existence ever end?

Mmmmm Guinness. I passed up a tour of the Guinness factory when we were in Dublin so that I could go to Temple Bar. It was SO worth it. (It was raining men, Hallelujah!) But I heard the Guinness factory was awesome! And, let me tell you, the Guinness in Ireland is SO much better than the Guinness elsewhere. *sighs with smile as she remembers*

Ooooo!! Ooooo!! Pick me!! Pick me!! *jumps up and down*

I guess you're Cancer! I'll have to read up on astrology to make any other guesses.

That would mean:

Cancers are cute. They pretend to be tough but it's all an act. They have great memories and lots of them are good at history. They love anything old, like museums, antiques and your grandmother. They are fairly secretive and hide things - food in their drawers and cupboards for instance. They stay pretty close to home, are extremely psychic, have a great sense of humour and are the world's best cooks. They collect things. Other people call this garbage but to them it's gold...you'd never find a Cancerian throwing a garage sale.

Which is really nice .... but not my sign!

I'm guessing you are a Gemini - and I already know what spirit is so I won't say. I figured it out because I figured Spirit must have the same sign as my older Sister - and she does.

Nope. Wow we are really good at this. This is going ALMOST as well as the quiz earlier this week. Ok I'm going to go read some descriptions.

Ok after checking out the Pisces - no way is that you - however Flames - I think you are a Virgo!
