On another note, I just received the most racist email from this girl I used to go to highschool with (about Obama) - we exchanged emails once and she has me on her stupid fwd list.

I have just composed a scathing reply - I'm furious.

My mom heard on the radio yesterday that he started out muslim (nothing wrong with that) then joined an all black separatist "white hate" church in Chicago when he was 20. That turned me off to him for good. (not that I was ever gonna vote for him anyway, I'm backing Romney and Ron Paul.)

Well this is another one of those - you should check the facts - moments.

This is the response I got from the woman who forwarded the email:

I did not write this, you attacked me on a personal level. I merely forwarded it. But I am glad you have enlightened me on him. Thanks

I patiently responded and asked her if someone made a racist or other hateful comment to her and she repeated it would she not take responsibility for it.

Ok enough of that, it's a downer!! Back to the depends :lol:

Liz's bandwidth carebear scared me so maybe you should ask Flames instead, he will pretty much do anything to get out of studying :hehe:

Oh ya, Im suppose to be studying!!

Canadians Visiting the USA while undergoing the visa process, my free advice:

1) Always tell the TRUTH. never lie to the POE officer

2) Be confident in ur replies

3) keep ur response short and to the point, don't tell ur life story!!

4) look the POE officer in the eye when speaking to them. They are looking for people lieing and have been trained to find them!

5) Pack light! No job resumes with you

6) Bring ties to Canada (letter from employer when ur expected back at work, lease, etc etc)

7) Always be polite, being rude isn't going to get ya anywhere, and could make things worse!!

8) Have a plan in case u do get denied (be polite) It wont harm ur visa application if ur denied,that is if ur polite and didn't lie! Refer to #1

I saw the weirdest thing the other day- I was at a local mall and they had a teeth whitening thing right in the middle of the mall. It was $99 and people were on these dentist chairs with the big things in their mouths and the UV machine over it.

Wow. Way to market, Dr D. Not too sure I'd go for it in a mall. (What if someone makes me laugh and I start choking? You have to think about these things. :lol: ) But it does cost a lot more than that, normally, doesn't it? So I'm thinking it's a great deal. Unless, of course, you die of laughter. :unsure:

I though $99 seemed like a good deal too. I would get it done- just not in the middle of the mall with people walking by and staring.

It's so cold here today, I just turned up the furnace and I have the space heater on and it's still chilly in here - it says it is -3 outside, but I beg to differ.
