hey.. I just looked at target.com to check out the Dyson Animal

THere's 3!

DC07

DC15

DC17

I'm assuming the latter is the best cuz it's the latest..

Got my wedding registry on my mind.. =) I hate Oliver's vacuum.

Sigh.. he loves it though!

but I think the temptation of a Dyson will make him ok to part with it.

Holy #######! it's $$$@#$$%.

$499 @ Macy's.

I've been tempted to get one of those Dyson Animal DC-17's myself. $550 at Linen 'n Things. But they always have 20% coupons. Add in they're giving out $50 gift cards too and it's hard to not buy it.

I bought mine at bed bath and beyond. they allowed me to use the 20% off coupon!!! We went with the Dyson 17 I believe, 2007 model!! Works great!! No major complaints, just that it does feel a bit "plasticy" We bought ours last feb and nothing has broke!!

Canadians Visiting the USA while undergoing the visa process, my free advice:

1) Always tell the TRUTH. never lie to the POE officer

2) Be confident in ur replies

3) keep ur response short and to the point, don't tell ur life story!!

4) look the POE officer in the eye when speaking to them. They are looking for people lieing and have been trained to find them!

5) Pack light! No job resumes with you

6) Bring ties to Canada (letter from employer when ur expected back at work, lease, etc etc)

7) Always be polite, being rude isn't going to get ya anywhere, and could make things worse!!

8) Have a plan in case u do get denied (be polite) It wont harm ur visa application if ur denied, that is if ur polite and didn't lie! Refer to #1

My house in Victoria was all wood or tile and once could tell the difference if I did by hand or used a mop like object. And yep, I'm a clean freak!! Soon about to get the dyson out and vacuum!! love my Dyson!! lol

Ohmygosh, I would LOVE a Dyson!!! You're the first person I know who has one. I have a really excellent vacuum right now so I can't justify buying one. But it's good to know a fellow cleanfreak loves them. Can't give me a better sales pitch than that. :)

My MIL washes her floors by hand. I'd never seen anyone do that before but yeah, I can see how mops would be a breeding ground of germs and such. And as for the Dyson...OMG YES! We want one so bad but gotta wait til we can afford it. Maybe by then the prices will have dropped some.

I'm trying SO HARD not to be a cleanfreak about our new house...but it ain't easy. *sigh*

Not registered anywhere yet!

=) I'm thinking Bed Bath & Beyond and/or Macy's.

I'm working on the save-the-date cards right now.. but in the next week or two, I hope to be officially registered somewhere =)
