Emancipation I'm glad you are taking care of all that, the invasion thing though, we may need to talk.

What is GPSing?? I know GPS is global positioning system, is that what Carla means? Do you drive around and see where you are? Will this be an Olympic Sport?

Do you offer lessons?

Sure. I use a program called Paint Shop Pro.

It's a really cool program. I make lots of signatures and different things.

Here is a few I've made:

Hey those are really nice Laura

I used to use Paint Shop, swore by it really, was not going to be swayed to use Photoshop. I now use photoshop.

But anyway, they are both really good programs.

Cool! I have Photoshop CS2, but I don't know how to use it. Guess I'll buy a book. LOL

My Sister got us a roomba for Christmas, picked it up Friday - ahh I love technology, my little friend is vacuuming the living room :)

I've heard those really work well now. I'd love one that washes the floors. I HATE doing that. Too hard on the knees. Gettin old now, you know.

Yes! Next up the scooba, will be buying one when we get to the U.S.. You know, this thing really does vacuum well - we have hardwood except for an area rug in the living room and we both commented yesterday that the rug actually looks cleaner than when we use the regular vacuum*

*This is in no way a reflection on the users ability with said regular vacuum

P.S. You wash the floor on your hands and knees??

Well, sheesh. I seem to have participated in a flurry of locked threads. Think I'll hide out in here for a while. I have, after all, learned something from my brush with the law.

Apparently you are still a trubble maker

<going to see which threads krikit has been posting in>

I wash my floor on my hands and knees!! Not much tile and wood in our condo, but have some!! Did the same back in my house in Victoria!! Cleaning with a rag/towel is far superior than a mop!! Mop is full of germs and ur respreading them around!! I picked up this nice habit from the Navy!! no mops on the ship!! Just small banister brushes and deck cloth!! I was lucky I progressed up the ranks fairly fast, lol

Canadians Visiting the USA while undergoing the visa process, my free advice:

1) Always tell the TRUTH. never lie to the POE officer

2) Be confident in ur replies

3) keep ur response short and to the point, don't tell ur life story!!

4) look the POE officer in the eye when speaking to them. They are looking for people lieing and have been trained to find them!

5) Pack light! No job resumes with you

6) Bring ties to Canada (letter from employer when ur expected back at work, lease, etc etc)

7) Always be polite, being rude isn't going to get ya anywhere, and could make things worse!!

8) Have a plan in case u do get denied (be polite) It wont harm ur visa application if ur denied, that is if ur polite and didn't lie! Refer to #1
