Wedding and a sense of humour the two go hand in hand...

My husband and I got our dj and told him that we're huge fans of early 90's dance music, like right said fred, ace of base, technotronic and 2 unlmited and we'd like a mix of just that.

TEE HEE!

For our engagement picture, its going to be one of those old sepia western shots, and I look like I belong in a brothel and he's a cowboy. We'll be sitting in a saloon.

Hmm come to think of it, I can kind of see why his family hates me so much.

then you can put the pic on save the date cards at costco for 0.19 each...i am sure your inlaws would love love love that :)

Guess I'll go back to cleaning my fridge now.

Boo... step away from the Fridge Krikit!! iT can clean itself!! :)

Congratulations to krikit for having a clean fridge!!!!

That doesn't really work, but I admire your doing it.

You know, why can't the fridge clean itself? We have dishwashers and fridges are just units like dishwashers really. So you take your stuff out, switch it to clean mode, it runs a short cycle, like the DW and voila you put your stuff back in - would that be so hard?

I'm still not finished with sorting papers. The desk is back in the living room, luckily when I am at the computer my back is to the living room :)

:lol::lol::lol:

Fridge all cleaned and sparkly. *pats self on back* Now I'm away to the store to fill it with nice shiny fruits and vegetables. I think I'll treat myself to a big juicy New York Striploin. And a saucy beaujolais. Well... actually a robust shiraz but I really like the word "beaujolais". ^_^ And some broccoli. And mushrooms. Okay, and some onions. And maybe a nice baked russet or sweet potato. NO idea how I'm going to eat all that, but I'll give it the good old college try.

You know, I would really like one of those self-cleaning fridges as well! I checked the appliances in this house and only the oven and the coffee maker are self-cleaning! Everything else requires me and the Fantastick. Fortunately the cats and my husband are relatively self-cleaning - although they both leave messes behind that I end up taking care of . . .

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

OMG, Tequila night. I had one of those about 15-20 years ago. It took me 3 days to recover from it. Never touched the stuff again. But I had fun before I turned into a pumpkin!

Go krikit! you can do it!

Oh and I did go and finish up the pile of papers - and for that I'm not making dinner, since you seem to have an abundance AND a clean fridge we might jet over to your house for the feast, if you don't mind.

I was thinking, we could probably do a whole thread on 'your most memorable encounter with tequila'.

Oh and krikit, do you know that I have always pronounced krikit as 'cry kit'. The light bulb went on tonight that it is really 'cricket'.

LOL. Funny. I do feel like a cry kit today, though. I woke up with a head and chest cold. :crying: I had so much planned for today, too. :( No idea where I got it but I'm hoping it doesn't last very long.
