I forgot to post in off topic this morning!

krikit said we are supposed to post here first, so don't tell her

Good morning all.

Thinking of a few projects today. I thought it might be nice if I started to put the BBQ together and we also have some velcro straps I want to try out (for the computer and tv cords of course :hehe: )

Morning all! mmm BBQQQQQQQ...I love barbecued anything.

I so do not want to be at work today. It sucks. So bad. The end.

"...My hair's mostly wind,

My eyes filled with grit

My skin's white then brown

My lips chapped and split

I've lain on the prairie and heard grasses sigh

I've stared at the vast open bowl of the sky

I've seen all the castles and faces in clouds

My home is the prairie and for that I am proud…

If You're not from the Prairie, you can't know my soul

You don't know our blizzards; you've not fought our cold

You can't know my mind, nor ever my heart

Unless deep within you there's somehow a part…

A part of these things that I've said that I know,

The wind, sky and earth, the storms and the snow.

Best say that you have - and then we'll be one,

For we will have shared that same blazing sun." - David Bouchard

Happy Friday! Man, this week seemed to just drag on. One of BB's friends has an adorable daughter and I babysit her sometimes for something to do while BB's at work. I've had her here at our house the past 3 days and I must say... Toddlers are tiring! Love her to bits but I am definitely ready for the weekend :)

That was a very restrained drunk post

Good morning all. Well, I didn't put the BBQ together and I didn't tidy up the cords with the velcro straps! :hehe:

I did a bit of cooking yesterday and basically played World of Warcraft, for those of you not familiar with the game, they just released a new add-on Wednesday at midnight - so that has been taking up a bit of time - but who cares, it's fun !!

We were going to go to the Farmer's market this morning, but it has been raining so will give that a miss - besides I need to fix my hair and we still need to put the BBQ together!

Haha I know!

Mike bought this beer lastnight and my friend came from California to visit Philly and I was supposed to go meet him in Philly but we ended up both getting silly drunk and I couldn't go because we couldn't drive. Anyways the beer, Mike and I enjoy trying new beer, and he bought this stuff called 'Shock Top' which was a Belgian Ale, and he gets it home and is reading the bottle and says: "EW THIS STUFF WAS MADE BY MICHELOB!"

But we drank it anyways.

Donne moi une poptart!

Good morning all! :)

Just doing a quick peek in here. Unfortunately, I don't have the time to read a week's worth of posts so I hope everyone's doing alright.

I've been here, in the US, for a week now and I still love it. Got a bank account, secured credit card, cell phone, marriage license and wedding rings. We'll be checking with some friends today and see if they want to be our witnesses for the wedding ceremony. I'll be applying for my SSN next week.

Have a good day! :)

Mike and I are going to finally convert over to a flat screen lcd tv today. We're gonna go to Best Buy and make friends with a nerdy sales boy.

I highly recommend a Panasonic. :)

Just be sure to arm yourself with a Lysol cannon when you go! Those nerdy sales boys don't always wash every day

Nini - Vancouver BC, Canada (she's the one who does the forum thing)

Bee - Devon PA, USA (he's the one who gave her the shiny ring)

Here we go again...
