Hello,

I filed the Affidavit of Support i-864 previously for her k-1 visa. Do I have to make an entirely new i-864 for the AOS I-485 Application?

Thanks!

yes, k1 they just use it as a guide. It's not officially enforced like it is for AOS. You also submitted it previously to embassy, not USCIS

I864 is required for I485 as it is the binding financial document to ensure the intended immigrant will not become a public charge.

11/28/2016: I-130 sent to Chicago IL lock box

The petitioner provided the K1 beneficiary with an I134 (not an I864) for their K1 visa interview.

An I864 is required for I485.

I134 and I864 are not the same.

The I864 must be filled with current details and have current supporting financial documents so even if they were the same form, your documents would be not current.

This is the best answer

"It"?

You do not submit I864 for K1 visa at all. K1s require I134s at DOS embassy level.
