Letter from the court count as court docs?

Went to the court and let them know we need court records for immigration but instead they provided a certified letter signed by the Deputy County Clerk. The letter states the court that was attended, the judge that presided over the case, the date it happened, the charges, and the final disposition.

Would this possibly be enough or should we go back and push for the records...?

Are you the petitioner or beneficiary?  What was the criminal charge?

I'm the petitioner. The beneficiary was the one arrested for illegal possession of a firearm but the case was dismissed due to no evidence and that is all stated in the letter they provided.

That letter should be fine then.
