I have a NVC interview for CR1 visa scheduled very soon. My year 2023 Tax transcript will not be ready by that time. Hence planning to take year 2023 W2 along with pay stubs and filed income tax returns documents.

My question is in I-864 form I have put my company DBA (Doing Business As) name as employer name but my W2 and paystub mentions parent company name.

Will this be an issue while Consular appointment interview and any further documentation needed to prove that DBA company name on W2 is indeed employer name I put in I-864 form?

Really appreciate if anyone can clarify and provide help.

That is an incredibly common situation.  It should not be any problem.

I agree, but you can take along a page to document the DBA belongs to the parent.  Public records or a page from the company website should do nicely.

FYI NVC does not conduct interviews.  Your interview will be abroad with a Consular Officer.  NVC is in New Hampshire.

For me it is physical income tax form 1040 submission to IRS as spouse does not have SSN/TIN number.

Then it wont be an issue, They are used to that. 6 weeks just to process the form and will probably be longer.

Pay attention to little words like "or" etc.  Sending a complete copy of what you mailed to IRS, is just fine.
