Hi, good afternoon

So I recently filed my 130 form end of last month, and I already received an update on my portal regarding processing time which went from 13 months to three months. Received an email last night stating that an action has been taken but when I login, I don’t see any updates. I am a US citizen, and my son is born Belizean… can anyone help me with what that email may have been referring to? potential approval?

I doubt it is an approval this quickly, but who knows.  More than likely someone either started working on it, or some internal work was done.  You won't really know until they either post a NOA or you get something in the mail.  Is there anything new posted in the documents section?

Good Luck!

Oh OK well, thank you for your input. But no, there has been no new updates in the documents section so I will keep waiting.

Many people report seeing "Action was taken" with no visible changes. That's either a glitch on USCIS end or something internal. Maybe it gets send whenever your file is open (not necessarily when action was taken)

How old is the child?

Presumably the other Parent is signed up for this.
