This is the interview where Biden says—twice—that Russia invaded Russia.  Where, immediately after saying, "I'm not going to comment," Biden says that "there is every reason" to believe Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu is prolonging the war against Hamas for political gain.  Then Biden says that the 19 percent increase in prices since he became president is due to "shrinkflation" and that he could "take" the Time reporter who asks about his advanced age.

Shades Of Nixon:  Biden Refuses To Turn Over Potentially Devastating Tapes

 

Almost exactly 50 years ago, the Supreme Court ordered President Richard Nixon to turn over White House tapes that he had refused to release for nearly a year, citing executive privilege.  On July 24, 1974, the court unanimously rejected Nixon’s executive privilege claim.  Sixteen days later, Nixon resigned.

Fast forward to this year, and President Joe Biden is refusing to release tapes of his interviews with Special Counsel Robert Hur about his handling of classified documents, citing, as Nixon did, executive privilege, with an added twist about the risk of "deep fakes."

Biden is, in fact, so determined to keep the tapes secret that he's willing to let his attorney general get slapped with contempt of Congress, a charge two House committees advanced on Thursday for Garland's refusal to comply with a congressional subpoena.  [...]

This is not too far from the truth.  The ICC is already saying just that, and I suspect a far left DOJ like the one run by Garland would like that idea.

Sadly, it's now impossible to deny that Joe Biden, the most powerful man in the world, is increasingly loopy - and getting worse

 

Unlike you-know-who, Joe Biden did not duck out of his D-Day duties last Thursday.  But was he really all there?  The videos suggest that he was not.

At one of the main ceremonies, the 81-year-old Commander-in-Chief attempted to sit down at the wrong moment, then changed his mind.

His wife, First Lady Jill, put her hand in front of her mouth to whisper something urgent to her ailing husband, to no avail.  The Leader of the Free World stood motionless — locked in a semi-squat — for several excruciating seconds.

It was just one of several seriously senior moments throughout the day.  As French president Emmanuel Macron stood about glad-handing the hero veterans, Jill led her husband off-stage by the hand.  And when Joe did have a chance to sit down, he appeared to doze off.

Donald Trump's son, Donald Jnr, wasted no time in calling Biden 'an embarrassment' — and, while no decent person should mock the elderly, it's hard to disagree.  [...]

Biden Administration to Announce Path to Citizenship for Illegal Immigrants Next Week

 

[...] This new plan is set to be announced next Tuesday and CBS reports that some Democrats have already been invited to the White House for it.  If it happens, it will be the biggest program for illegal immigrants since President Obama announced DACA.  Up to 1.1 million migrants who have US spouses could be eligible.  Somehow, leaking news of this on a Friday night doesn't suggest a lot of confidence on the White House's part that this will go over well.

 

Like everything else Biden has done with regard to the border, I can only assume this move is motivated by politics.  But what exactly is the upside here?  Is he trying to stem the flow of Hispanic voters to Trump?  Perhaps he is trying to offer something to progressives who are upset with his recent move to block asylum claims.  The ACLU has already sued the administration over that.  [...]
