Of course Petulant Joe doesn't define "fair share", and since salaries are mostly based on profits, what is the "fair share" of zero?  The only reason the WNBA is still around is it is subsidized by the NBA.  Additionally, with the Bidenmentia logic, shouldn't UFL players make the same salary as NFL players?

Maybe the WNBA can employ some enforcers.  This may generate some additional interest.  The problem with Clark is that she is on a truly bad team, and it will take several years before they are competitive.  As to the rest of the WNBA, the NILs in college are making many envious of the rookies who were making money in college whereas the veterans did not have that opportunity.  We shall see how it all works out in the end.

I saw quite a few commentators speculate that the WNBA would blow a generational opportunity to gain some relevancy.

I have been hearing similar comments.  The veteran players need to look at the long-term instead of playing petulant games with Clark.  If she can help raise the relevancy of the game, everyone in the WNBA will win.
