I had a combo interview for I-751 and N-400 yesterday. I was told both my cases were approved but today the status was updated to I-751 denied and N-400 approved. Is this normal?

I-751 Update:

Appeal/Motion Was Dismissed

Your appeal/motion was dismissed. Your case remains denied. On April 11, 2024, we sent you a notice about this action. If you do not receive your notice by May 11, 2024, please contact the appellate authority directly. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

N-400 update:

You should receive your notice within 30 days of its mailing date. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

That's weird to say the least! What's the history: did you apply for N-400 while I-751 was pending, and then I-751 got denied? Meanwhile you filed I-290B and got scheduled for N-400 interview?

How did the interview go?

I may be optimistic, but perhaps IO just didn't bother updating I-751 case or updated to whatever status because N-400 got approved?

Tell us more.
