Hey everyone!

I am from Ecuador and my interview for the K1 visa is in a couple months.

We are not sure if I should get the vaccines needed before my medical appointment (to make them cheaper but I am not sure if they are valid), at the doctor's office when I get my medical appointment or if it's a better idea to get them at usa (My fiance has medical insurance, but we are not sure if they are covered by it)

What do you suggest? (Low price, better results related)

Hi there,

I got my vaccines at the medical appointment in Guayaquil, as they know what to fill and what to give you already. You might cut prices if you get the flu vaccine in a Centro de Salud, which is free and at the Medical is about $20.00. I still don't know if it was better or not as I haven't shown or used my vaccines report yet, but as I read in other places it was best to get them before you arrive to the US as it might cost you way more.

Has anyone found a definite answer on this?

My beneficiary is trying to get her vaccines in Guayaquil, but we dont know if they will be valid at the medical exam.

Is it ok to wait for the Medical appointment to get them?
