All, FYI I received notification for the interview appointment for my 5-year based N-400. Please see timeline below:

Applied: 1/29/2024

NOA: 1/29/2024

Biometrics scheduled: 2/3/2024

Biometrics appointment: 2/20/2024

Interview scheduled: 3/1/2024

Interview date: 4/4/2024

Estimate time is fluctuating now. Does anybody have any idea on the timing between interview and oath? I need to travel internationally in 2-3 months for health/family reasons and will need to get a US passport before that.

No wonder here, estimates are useless.

It depends whether you're changing name (delay factor) and which field office.

Houston shows as of today 7.5 Months processing.

We had a bit of a hard time with his 10 year green card, but satisfied USCIS of what they requested to approve.

Thankfully I’m not changing my name but was wondering how long the oath is taking at the Houston field office or even if they do same day oath.

Thanks. Her timeline is consistent with others showing around one month between interview and oath.
