If it were me I’d leave early, bring a book to read or listen to the radio while in the car park.

I just drove to work at 7am this morning which should have taken 30 minutes but due to an accident on the beltway, my travel time was double the normal.

Do they allow cell phone inside?

My lawyer said he sent 2 passport size photos of me when we sent the N-400. Even though they took my photo at the interview. They will use the best photos. They decide which one goes on the certificate.

Just curious as I was going over the form we have to bring to the ceremony. Has any one ever gotten a traffic ticket/violation a few days before their oath ceremony? If so what did you have to do? Do they still let you do the oath etc I am talking a few days before ceremony and you don’t have time to pay the ticket etc .

Just curious if something like this would be a non issue or they make a big deal out of it.

Knock on wood, so far my husbnad has not, but if I was you, I would pay it immediatly, and bring the receipt to interview.

Maybe later you can take defensive driving to have it removed.

Is the Oath on 5/8 still scheduled? I know we have had inclement weather.

I doubt if cancelled, no more rain in Houston expected this week. No flooding was reported in their area.

Paying a fine means it stays on record for 3 years. It will affect your insurance rates. Always do a drivers course if you qualify or deferred disposition. It’s also cheaper.

They say it starts at 8 o’clock on the letter but didn’t start until 10 ..it was 1351 people and 111 countries. The speaker and judge gave excellent speeches. Yes family is allowed to come in and watch.

Finally done with my immigration journey , it’s going to feel weird not grabbing my green card when I am traveling abroad. Your GC picture will be on your naturalization certificate.

Loved the speech by the Greek immigrant.

I would love to know which 111 countries and the count. I am guessing most will be from Mexico.
