Hi all,

We submitted our I130 standalone application late April last year and are preparing our civil documents for the DS260 forms that we will need to fill out soon so that we don't get any additional delays.

We are currently stuck with the Irish garda refusing to provide us with a police certificate "without correspondence/proof from US government, stating that we need one" which seems quite ridiculous as my I managed to received the other necessary police certificates from my home country without any questions asked.

We've already sent them our I130 receipt notice which they didn't accept cause it doesn't state specifically that we need a police certificate.

Anyone that's been in the same situation? What did you provide the Police with in order for them to proceed with the application?

The issue you are facing is that USCIS does not issue visas. No visa has been applied for yet.  Once you hear from the National Visa Center, you will have some documentation related to actually applying for a visa.
