hello everyone im new here. So to start off i was approved march 9 for my green card and very happy about it. 2 years process. Anyways i was anxious to receive my Green card but to my surprise the mailman never delivered it . Even Thought it said delivered on the case app it was not there. Mind you i forgot to mention everything goes to my lawyers office. That was 2 weeks ago. we already went and did all the steps to try and find it. its been a crazy 2 weeks. Since my case was approved and card produced i started planning my trip to visit my home country. I had bought plane tickets to go see my mom after 24 yrs. Now that my card was not delivered my lawyer said i can get a stamp to travel. My fear is would i be able to get the stamp before my trip? My trip is june 9. i am so mad and sad this happend to me. Its so unfair. :(

What boxes were checked G-28? Does lawyer receive cards too or not? (there's separate box for that). If yes, you should bug lawyer to help you resolve it. Also, you can try talking to somebody in USPS office which serves lawyer's office.

If card was mailed to your address, go to local post office, show them delivery status and ask the questions.

Also, do you still have 2 year GC? Do you have extension letter which is still valid? If yes, you can travel with those in June if you don't have your GC at that time.

Also, after talking to USPS, if they cannot help, you should consider filing non-delivery with USCIS https://egov.uscis.gov/e-request/displayNDCForm.do?entryPoint=init&sroPageType=ndc

I understand how stressful it is, but you still have time to resolve it before the trip. I recommend to always wait for green card / passport etc before booking any flights.

Did you get your GC through an immigrant visa or through adjustment of status?  If an immigration visa, you should already have proof of your LPR status in your visa.  If through adjustment of status you will have to request an ADIT (I551) stamp which is a bit easier now.

Good Luck!
