I am a Canadian citizen residing in Canada with my spouse. Recently, my son filed an I-130 petition on behalf of both of us, and I'm pleased to inform you that our petition has been approved. As I am currently in the process of gathering the necessary documentation to proceed with my visa application, I have encountered a question regarding the requirement for a police certificate.

The authorities have requested a police certificate from my home country, as well as from the countries where I have resided since 1995. Since I have been living outside of my home country for an extended period, I am unsure about the specific information required for the police certificate.

Could you please provide guidance or share a sample template outlining what needs to be included in the police certificate? Any assistance you could offer in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Which authorities exactly?

Police certificates are unavailable and thus not required for Pakistan. You can provide this official guidance form the Department of State:
