similar situation, got action taken on your case email but do not know if it is actively reviewing or not. all the email said was action taken on your case and log in to see update but there was no update when i log into my account

This is normal. Check later. Sometimes this message gets generated without any action taken. Sometimes, it's a delayed notification of action.

Meanwhile, as a comical update as to why you should never trust the MyProgress tab

I was "on track" for approval in March/April 2025, as the general estimates (applied NOA1 March 30, 2024)

Logged in today just for fun - and now my progress tab says 13!! months hahaha and we just know that's not true. And also they added some new "timeline" bar underneath it which is even more useless

Agreed....remember when I said we'll see as my tab went from 4 months to 3, to 2....well yesterday it went to 10 and I fully expect that tomorrow it will go to 37 and so on and so forth. Just enough carrot dangling to both excite and iritate me into oblivion.

The agony

Hey everyone,

Just came across this thread. I filed for my Husband who lives in Canada. Our case is as follows:

I-130 Sent: 2024-03-27

I-130 NOA1: 2024-03-27

Have had the crazy changes in case progress timelines like most of you have had as well. As it stands we still have no updates.

I-130s take around 15 months nowadays.

If you use calculator

You should expect some movement early July 2025 the earliest. Unless you get lucky.

You believe the general timelines here - not my progress ever ever ever

So, you should expect NOA2 aka approval of the first part - around February to April 2025 (12-15 months). But, generally it’s one year so probably it will happen Feb 2025, but don’t be shocked if it’s not until March or April.

Thanks for the response, yeah that is pretty disappointing as we expected it would maybe end up being quicker. Especially since we originally believed the timeline they provided online which was about 8 months or so haha That was before we found this website and the timeline estimator on their website.

Been a while since I've updated my timeline.  I got to November and it was still saying 12 months.  Then near December, they did an update on the system and mine changed to 3 months and now a month later, 2 months.  My PD is 18 March 2024.  When we applied, the current timeline for those that applied the year before and getting approved was about 12 months.  I'm pretty sure when I applied, the timeline was 12 to 14 months.  I'm not going to get my hopes up but I do have hope.  The earliest would be only 2 months away!!!!  I'm going to visit my husband in March and if we don't hear anything by the end of my visit, then we only have about 3 months.  I flew over to see my husband in August and then he flew here for 2 weeks just before Christmas.  These little visits have helped so much but will never make up for the time lost, especially for our children.

Hang in there all, we are so close now!

US citizen moved back to the states with our children to file, husband remained in England
