Does anyone know if the processing for 1d on the I-824 is quicker than the processing times online? Some are over 14 months which seems like a lot for only needing to notify NVC of approval.

It's usually about a year, but does depend on the processing centre.

The average processing for I-824 that I’ve seen here is about a year.

That’s seems like such a long time for what’s being asked. Has anyone tried send a letter to a state rep?

USCIS usually rebuffs with referring to the processing times on their websites and that the application is within the normal processing times.

Why?  They can't push your application ahead of the others who sent theirs first.

 

Unfortunately it is a well known delay caused by not filling out the forms correctly.

I agree I guess I just figured 1a would be sorted together along with the other options being sorted together. Some option I would think would need more attention than others.
