Does this BC count as late registered?

Hi, Filipino beneficiary here.

 

I just wanted to verify with you guys if you had an idea whether this birth certificate of mine counted as “late registered.” It has an annotation on the side because of a late legitimation due to late marriage, but it does not have that “late registered” annotation on the remarks box.

 

If it is late registered, what documents should I bring to the interview? I was only 1 year old at the time of that annotation.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

Legitimation of your birth certificate is not the same as being late registered.  The only effect it has on US immigration is that it may have changed your surname to that of your father's(?).  If it did change your name, you may need an AKA using your mother's surname on your NBI clearance.

  • October 07, 2021: Passports tracking for delivery on 2GO Courier website
  • October 08, 2021: Passports with visas delivered.  "Visas on hand"
