Hello... My husband in the US was sent a notice saying our i-130 petition has now been approved and transferred to NVC and allocated an NVC case number etc..

I called the NVC's automated system to try and find out if there was any update yesterday (see if anything new had been sent to us etc).. Apparently the AOS fee bill has been despatched from New Hamphire.. only that was on July 30th (6 working days ago to be exact!) and my husband (in Hawaii) has still not received it. I'm not really familiar with the US postal system so this may be quite normal but I am begining to worry that this has been lost in the post....

I have checked other posts and everyone seems to have emailed something back the very day after DS3032 has been generated..

Can someone please explain this to me?

Thanks in advance

There are two reasons why he hasn't received it. 1. The NVC is really backed up with all the petitions they've received since May. And 2. Just because they say a form has been generated it doesn't mean they have been mailed it. As of a month ago anything they said they were sending took about 2 weeks to get to the recipient. Now it's about 4 weeks or more.
