What does the K1 VISA Expiration Date Mean?

I thought we had 90 days to get married after she arrives in the US. She got her K1 VISA in the mail today and it shows an expiration date on it of June 13th. She can't even come here until the end of April, so does it mean we will only have less than 2 months to get married after she arrives? Or does the K1 VISA expiration date merely mean she has to travel to the US before June 13th?  In other words, is June 13th the date we have to be married by or is it the date she has to travel here by? I'm so confused because every resource I can find on the internet all indicate that we should have 90 days to get married beginning on the date she arrives here.

Validity of the visa (U.S. entry) is typically 6 months from the date of the medical exam.

She must enter the U.S. with use of the visa by or before June 13.

Do not (do NOT!) wait until the last day, or last 2 days, before expiration.

Too much can happen (bad weather, airplane trouble, civil unrest, et al.).

 

Avoid sweating wedding plans; do what many or even most of us have done:

 -- courthouse marriage within 90 days of fiancée's U.S. entry; then,

 -- plan big shindig at your leisure.

 

Mrs. T-B. & I were married on Hallowe'en, and our big bash was on Pearl Harbor Day.

The Expiration date is the date she must enter the US by.

 

The 90 days do not start until the date she enters.
