Do we need to bring our taxes for interview?

I never got divorced because I'm scared to contact my ex, but I just realized my last tax was wrongly filled SINGLE by my accountant

Is this a problem??? I'm so nervous

Yes, it is a problem. Amend taxes, you should be Married Filing Separately.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

Hi,

I'd like to file for my N400 citizenship, since i became permanent Residence in Florida

i never move to different apartment till i lost my job, i decided to go stay with a friend in Texas for work but i still keep my old apartment in my name(lease) in Florida.

I am worried, was i supposed to make change of address with USCIS anywhere i go as PR? Cuz i didn't do it.

Will it affect my N400?

Which address should i use to fill for N400?

I still have my old address(in Florida) i kept, and all my mails go there i didn't move out and i am currently with a friend's place in Texas for work.

I am so confused actually.

Thank you in advance for your differents advices.

Hold long ago did you lose your job? How long ago did you move to friend's address? How long are you planning staying there?

You need to update address within 10 days of moving. If you're actually moved to a new address and not temporarily visiting, you should not use your old address for applying for N-400. It will get denied if you don't actually reside there.

Our VAWA-Thread Jokes have been really effective in bringing about approvals and positive news (that is, if correlation = causation).  Here now is our Official Weekly VAWA-Thread Joke for Sunday:

=============================================

THE PSYCHIATRIST AND THE ANGRY HUSBAND

A woman went to a psychiatrist because she was having severe problems with her love life.  The psychiatrist asked her a lot of questions, but he couldn't get a clear picture of the problems.

Finally, he asked, "Do you ever watch your husband's face while you're having relations?"

"Well, yes, I did once."

"And how did he look?"

"Oh boy -- he looked angry!"

At this point, the psychiatrist thought that he was getting somewhere. "That's very interesting; we must explore this further.  Now tell me: you say that you have seen your husband's face only 'once' during lovemaking.  That seems somewhat unusual.  How did it occur that you saw his face that time?"

"He was watching us through the window."

Hi old user,

Thank you for your response.

I have been at my friend's place(in texas) for 10 months now and i didn't update my New adress since i am still keeping my other apartment in Florida lease and rent receipts.

So it better to cancel my lease apartment from Florida and submit address change from texas with new address and apply for N-400?

Do this, or your N-400 interview might be scheduled at an office in Florida.

Actually, do this if your move to Texas is permanent.

Why are you still keeping your apartment in Florida?

Thank you for your response TboneTx

Actually i have my fiance still living there, so my plan was not to permanently move to Texas, i was planning to go back to Florida,

That's why i am confused about which adress to use.

So if i go back to Florida then no need to submit change of address.

I can submit my N400 with the Florida address right away?
