Good afternoon, please advise if there are any fees associated with EAD i765/i131 reneawal with I360 and i485 pending?

There is no fee for renewal of both EAD and AP if you have paid for i-485. If you did not pay for i-485 then you either pay or send renewal package with fee waiver. You will not get combo card if you just send only EAD renewal. Only way you will get combo card if you send both applications together and USCIS approves both together. There are cases where USCIS approves these applications separatly therefore, people do not get combo card.

You do not need to file i-131 if you do not wish to travel.

I recommend filing for I-131 and I-765 ALWAYS. Especially since it's free with I-485. Plans change, and it may be impossible to get I-131 later if you need to visit ill parents or attend some other emergency outside of the US.

It is Wednesday already, and time for our Semiofficial Semiweekly VAWA-Thread Joke!

It's still January, so read this one about our New Year's resolutions:

=============================================================
NEW YEAR'S RESOLUTIONS THAT PEOPLE ACTUALLY KEEP

Read less.

I want to gain weight and put on at least 30 pounds.

I will start buying lottery tickets at a luckier store.

Stop exercising.  Waste of time.

Watch more TV.  I've been missing some good stuff.

Watch less television on the small screen and buy a bigger one.

Gain enough weight to get on The Biggest Loser.

Watch more movie remakes.

Procrastinate more.

I will do less laundry and use more deodorant.

I'll become a vegan for a day and subsequently learn that it was a missed steak.

I will no longer waste my time relieving the past; instead, I will spend it worrying about the future.

Drink!  Drink some more!

Stop buying worthless junk on eBay, because QVC has better specials.

Start being superstitious.

Spend more time at work.

Stop bringing lunch from home -- I should eat out more.

Take up a new habit -- maybe smoking!

:P

Sunday!  Official Weekly VAWA-Thread Joke!

==========================================

FARMER TO THE RESCUE

A husband and wife, driving down a country lane, came to a muddy patch in the road, and their car got stuck.

After a few minutes of trying to get the car out by themselves, they saw a young farmer coming down the lane, driving some oxen before him.

The farmer stopped when he saw the couple in trouble and offered to pull the car out of the mud for $50.  The husband accepted, and, minutes later, the car was free.

The farmer turned to the husband and said, "You know, yours is the 10th car I've helped out of the mud today."

The husband looked around at the fields incredulously and asked the farmer, "When do you have time to plow your land -- at night?"

"No," the young farmer replied seriously, "Night is when I add more water to the muddy patch."
