Hi everyone,

So I checked my case status this morning.. inputting and refreshing the page, like I’ve been doing for years and it said “We ordered your card” “Case approved” like what??? 🙏🏽 I am still shocked and it hasn’t sunk in yet.. I guess when I get my papers from my lawyer and the actual card, I will be less shocked. I am so incredibly grateful 🙏🏽

Good luck to everyone who is still undergoing the process. If you have any questions, or just want to vent and need someone to listen, please reach out to me. You are not alone. I know what it’s like to be alone and scared. Glory to God 🙏🏽❤️

Hello, does anybody know if applying for citizenship for a person who got her green card through VAWA is the same as for any other applicant? or do VAWA green card holders need to submit extra documents or extra steps in the application? Where do you think I can get more information on this? Do you think hiring a lawyer is necessary or is it something I can do on my own?  Do you recommend applying online or by mail? Thank you.

If the instructions on the N-400 specify this, then follow them; if not, the process is the same as for everyone else.
