Pls how long after interview is passport returned now in London embassy

Just keep checking your status as it will change from ready to AP and then issued and or approved etc. It will give you a clue when you might get your passport for pickup or delivery etc.

It all depends the embassy is advising 2 weeks - others may get their passport in 3 days , a weeek and sadly even 3 plus weeks. If you are buying tickets I would say buy a flexi- 😊

Hi everyone,

We were DQ’d 19th of July for IR-1. Our CEAC says the case was a still at the NVC. Should I keep checking (daily) for updates? Just worried I am going to miss an email!

hopefully here something this week!

Most likely you will get a interview date in Sept or October. You will get an email when your case is transferred to London Embassy for interview..

When you say get an interview date in September or October, do you mean we will get our Interview Letter then? Or that the Interview itself will be in that time?

I only ask as our documents were approved on the 25th of July, so a similar timeframe. The issue is that I already had plans to go to the US 2nd-24th of September, but now my wife has surgery booked for the 20th, so I'd like to extend this. I think I'm safe to do so, as looking at other timescales I'll probably end up with an interview date in November?

Yes, you can always extend your interview date even if you get the interview in Sept or Oct. But for sure, November is most likely on the cards..

It went very well. We got told our status at the interview. He got his passport back the following week and we set his flight for next week on Sept 3rd.

Many congrats. Is your husband UK citizen?

He'll be a resident.  He can't become a citizen for a few years after he's been here.
