Oh wow, thank you. The image above is not for Portland. But Portland is on that website. If they schedule her for May 16th, I think it's not enough time unless we can get a seriously expedited passport.

The next one isn't until June 13 and we'll be in Europe.

Is it easy to reschedule a ceremony?

Also, I thought the ceremony was at USCIS, not a courthouse?

they can choose any of the sites near u for the oath

and ours was done at a courthouse with judge

and be USCIS officer who pedcides or judge

The Secretary of Homeland Security has the authority to administer the Oath and may delegate the authority to other officials within DHS and to other employees of the United States

In addition, immigration judges may also administer the Oath in administrative ceremonies. During judicial naturalization ceremonies, the judge in the district of proper jurisdiction has exclusive authority to administer the Oath.

Typically this occurs when somebody changed name? Did you change name when naturalizing?

In Detroit all oath ceremonies are conducted at the federal courthouse with a judge administering the oath regardless of a name change.  Not all USCIS offices conduct administrative oaths.
