Keep us updated. Looks like left hand doesn't know about what the right hand doing. Attaching copy of I-751 receipt when filing N-400 theoretically reduces the chances of your scenario with two interviews happening.

I had my N400 interview yesterday and everything went well! (Except for the 2 hours of waiting before the 20 min interview, but oh well 😅) We were recommended for approval and I already got a notification about my pending I-751 being transferred to the DC office. So hopefully everything will go smoothly from here.

11/07/2019 Received  NVC Case Number via Email and submitted the payments (same day)

02/15/20 Move to the US

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..
